Same as above. They call then after about 5 rings they stop. Never anyone there. Very annoying

Err Wendy, you do realise the bad guys scrape Facebook for personal details happily provided by dimwits, right?

Combine that with Facebook's commercial arrangements with advertisers (they're on record declaring that they no longer consider it 'your' data once you place it on their infrastructure) as well as shadow profiles, and you might begin to see why an apparently "free" service is not free at all.

Strange number so I let it go to answering machine , no message was left but the fax machine picked up the signal and beeped like end of transmission. No data came through. Could be a bot? I have had several "overseas" and "private" calls last week that I also let go to machine...never a message left.

I answered the phone to a man with foreign accent (possibly Indian) who stated he was from "IMS". I questioned what this stands for, to which he said "Information Management Services". I hung up. He then called back and said I was rude and continued speaking but I cut him off in a raised stern voice and said "Do not ever call this number again' and hung up again. He then called a third time and the same number appeared. I quickly got a pen & paper as it was ringing, but just as I wrote the number down it switched to 'private' on my caller I.D. My caller ID states this is an overseas number. I then took the phone off the hook to avoid continued harassment.

Area Code = Tasmania...mmm...Not sure what they are all about but they're surely pissing me off!!

Yes I too have had several calls over the last few days from thin number. Person listens for as while and hangs up. Last time I answered police they hung straight up and haven't called back. Very suspect.. where is 06 ??

5 missed calls in 3 days.. no voice messages received. I'm on the Do not call register so you know it has to be a bit dodgy.

Get at least 2 missed calls a day from this number, I answered tonight and they called me by my maiden name which I use on facebook?? WTF?
