Caller: Scammers

They called today....Ooh your Visa card iz hacked. ( Love it, we don't have one ) So, I gave them a Dummy credit card number...Ooh now ze pin..... 000, 😂Name on card. M ESUOM. ( Mickey Mouse backwards. ) " Dead Silence" As in Seinfeld, "I say swear word and hang up. 😂😂😂😂🙋

Caller: Claiming to be from visa and mastercard department

Called me by my name and said she was from visa and Mastercard fraud department, told her to f--- off and I hung up. They tried to call again but I had blocked the number and phone rang only once.

Caller id said Broome, WA. I didn't answer and no message was left

Five phone calls in two days from 'the Mastercard and Visa Security Department'. I suggest if they're trying to scam someone into giving them their credit card details, they might start by pronouncing the target's very simple, six letter, English surname properly! Dead giveaway - but fun confusing them if you have the time.

Bank says my visa/Mastercard was used, ebay and Amazon totalling over $1000. I played with him giving very false details and was upgraded to the next level. Played with him for a while. He gave me a choice of which bank I was with (one of the big 4) I told him and he said that's correct. I lied. Very sophisticated. Including auto choice with Aussie accent. Press 1 for etc 2 for etc. These people were good, lucky I'm better haha but watch out.

I did not answer but this call ticks all the boxes for a scam call - block and beware

Said from telstra technical just hung up as suspect scam call.

The caller ID said the number was from Broome, Australia. I didn’t answer the call.

This time it was eBay support! I said, oh yeah. Are you in Broome today. Crickets. I repeated - how is the Broome weather today. How do we find the real number behind this - called back with call ID blocked and it doesn’t answer. Ideas?
