Scam call originating from "Broome", you can pick it like a booger.
Bloody idiots who cannot do their research, Broome is the last place anyone would call from unless you have just booked accommodation.

It came up as Christmas Island so I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message... who would answer a scammer on Good Friday FFS?

sounded like a spam call, heard the tell tale sound of being connected to a call centre and people talking in the background. phone call said it originated from broome. no one calls from broome like they seriously can’t fake a phone number from a better place than that???

Caller: Insurance Commission Scammer

Scammer calling pretending to be from the Insurance Commission of Western Australia. They panicked I asked them to provide the case number of the crash they thought I had been involved in and ended the call. Not even very professional scammers, lol.

No one calls on Good Friday, unless it is family. Did not answer

Don't usually answer but did this time and sounded like a overseas caller. I hung up immediately,

called me another some others about a payout from a minor car accident I had a week ago. don't know how they got our numbers and names.

08 area code, being west aussie, but started with a 5114, said it was from broome but clearly not- scammer!

Caller: Purporting to be insurance company

Supposedly calling from some inaudibly spoken insurance company regarding a recent motor car accident. When challenged for identification the caller hung up.
