None provided - pretending to be Internet provider calling about illegal activity detection.


Briefly describe the scam:
Robotic voice call with British accent. Scammers using an automated message claiming to be from my 'internet provider'. It then continued something similar to this: "We will be discontinuing your internet connection within 24 to 48 hours due to illegal activity.

Then continuing with prompts to press 1 to speak with an officer or agent or something.

I didn’t do this, just silently listening and then it hung up.

I reported this to ACCC SCAMWATCH website.
