Scam pretending to be a verification code for HSBC

SMS received from number: +54 11 6261 684
Text message with verification code posing as HSBC. Directs you to call "(02) 8529 6907" if you "didn't request this".
Looks reasonably legit, but the number doesn't come up as a contact for HSBC on google, it's just a random number. So clearly a scam SMS. Also i'm not with HSBC.

It says it is from HSBC with a verification code. It asks me to call a number is I did not request it.

i reported to my bank immediately !

Got 2 messages:
1) Payment to Ali Ahmed was stopped for further checks. If this was NOT you, please contact us on (02) 8527 5085. I rang this phone, HSBC answered.
2) HSBC: Your verification code is nnnnnn. Please don't share it with anyone. If you didn't request this, please contact us on 1800 497 056 MON-SUN 8am-9pm.

Did a quick search and I can't find this HSBC phone number publicly listed anywhere.

Used for MyGov scam SMS with dodgy link in it.

It was an sms, says it's from the ATO with a link to 'ensure processing completion'.
Nah, I don't think so...
