Text saying they were Australian Centrelink my gov and to click the enclosed link to read the new inbox I had.

Scam text supposely from ATO my gov saying "assessment notice update about your return payment visit" ......scam link to scammers site

Looks like the South Americans (+54 is Argentina and 11 is Buenos Aires) like the the Indians are getting into everything to scam people.
Message this morning about " Disaster payments" log onto this link. Parasites is all you could called these Arseholes.
People be aware of these scammers..

This number sent me a message claiming to be my gov, wanting me to click on a link which I assume is a phishing link. Don't not click on link, this is a scam.

Beware of this unlisted number as it is yet another spoofed number being used by cyber criminals. As this number was not recognised the SMS was deleted and the number blocked.
