NSW Economic Development office. Hung up on me when I told him we weren't moving office

Man with an accent asked if our company has found a business location. Asked him to repeat where he is from. I asked why he wasn't calling from a NSW phone number. He hung up.

Caller: Man with indian accent

Man with thick indian accent called saying he was from Business Development something in New Zealand. Asked about when we are considering moving office. Read out our company address (probably taken from our website) and tried to ask when we are considering moving business.

I explained that I was not aware that we are moving office. He said if I don't know, then I should give the phone to a manager or someone in charge. I said they were out of the country and he gave a big sigh and then hung up.

Definitely a scam!

Caller: SCAM CALLER

Strong Accent - very staticky line - claimed to be from a Economic Development Office - was calling to see if we found an office - SO DODGY it was obviously a Scam Caller

Also had a call from the 'NSW Economic Development Office'. He asked if we had found a new office and when I said we weren't looking, he hung up.

Called claiming to be from the NSW Business Development Office asking if we have found a new office to move into or if we were still looking. I said we were not looking to move and he rudely hung up. Male caller with heavy accent maybe Filipino or from an south east asian country.

call from some guy with heavy accent claiming to be from economics Business Development office. Asked if we had found a place to move to. I said I think you have the wrong number and he hung up on me before id even finished. they would be scamming not sure for what??? Don't ever answer with yes? it may be recorded

got a call from some guy claiming to be from the Victorian economics Business Development office. Asked if we had found a place to move to. I told him we weren't moving and he hung up on me before id even finished. not sure what they would be scamming for???

Caller: NSW Business Development Office

Called and said he was from NSW Business Development Office, Asked if we had made a decision as to move locations yet. I advised that I am simply a receptionist and was not privy to that information and asked if we was offering a property. He said no. I asked if he was with our real-estate and he said no. I asked for his name and to confirm what his business was with us and he abruptly disconnected the call. Not sure what this person was trying to do but wasted a good 4 minutes of my time.

Scam call claiming to be from Victorian Economic Development.

Received call from Indian man claiming to be from the Victorian Business Development office. Asked if we had moved or were still looking to move. I told him we weren't moving and he hung up on me.

Caller: Scam

Indian man apparently from Queensland Department of Economics. Called asking if we had found somewhere to move our business to. I said we weren't moving as we moved in a year ago. He asked if I was sure and when I said yes he simply said "hhmmmm okay then, thank you bye". Last time he called he was for Queensland Building Association.

I asked who he wished to speak to, as I don't know anything about this.
he repeated the same question .... I advised I don't know what he's asking or why he's asking it ... he hung up

Caller: Business Development Office Victoria

Asked us if we were considering moving. Got angry and yelled "What the f*ck" and hung up. Small man energy.

Caller: Victorian Business Developoment Office

I was asked whether we had found a new palce to move our business to. When I stated we have no plans to move our business he abruptly hung up.

An Indian male claiming to be from NSW Business/Economic Development. I said we weren't interested and hung up. He proceeded to call another 6 times, once even speaking with my boss and couldn't actually confirm what he was calling for. Called again today and didn't bother answering. Especially rude and did not take no for an answer.

Again, strong accent. Said Qld something development office. He said it so quickly and had to ask him 3 times. When I said I was confused as to why he was calling me he hung up.

Said He was Michael from some Victorian Business blah blah , again like most others here was after information about if we were moving or had found a new premises.
