I got a text message from this number. Text reads:
We have blocked access to your card due to suspicious activity.

A member of the fraud team will shortly give you a call. Reference ID (FR4D1)

About a minute later they called from the same number. I didn't answer, I thought if they are serious they'll leave a voice message and if they don't then it's phishing /spam. They didn't leave a message. I checked my cards on my bank app and nothing wrong with them.

They are spoofing the CBA number to trick unsuspecting and vulnerable people. Don't answer anything like this. Always call back using the contact number you find on the official website and go to the website by using search. Never use links that are sent to you.

This is the actual legitimate overseas number for Commonwealth Bank in Australia. Many other scam emails or voicemails are using this number as a return number to make them appear somewhat legit. They are just using this legit number form commbank.
Commbank actually give you this number to call them if out of Australia.
Give it a call and you'll receive Commbank.

This number keeps calling my mobile. Many times a day and often repeated. I don't answer. If the Comm bank really wanted to reach me they'd leave a message. If it keeps occurring I'll block the number. Fed up.

Scam. I recieved a "Visa security" call about apparent attempts to use my credit card in the USA. I was then forwarded to this number to chat to my bank (which is not CBA). I asked a couple of questions and they hung up on me.

Had 2 calls from this number 2 days in a row. It comes up as Premium Custody Services on my phone. I did not answer and both times no message was left. It's definitely a scam caller.

It’s outright fraud. Don’t listen to the comment here saying it is legitimate. How do I know? READ ON. Firstly, it was eerily like a call I got from a security officer from a WA bank telling me about fraudulent transactions on my card. I asked for a phone number, same rote reply as that time, “It;s the number on the back of you card”. Big problem - I had no WA bank acct. This time, as last time, phony computerised English accent, presumably to get your defenses down. It is clearly FAKE. This time, they know my name and clearly my number. Told me several large fraudulent transactions had been made. I gave no details. I checked with my bank - CBA, they said they had not called and NEVER call - everything will be through the app. I checked my acct - no fraudulent transactions. I got a robocall from a spoofed Blacktown number under 2 hours earlier and made the mistake of accidentally swiping before the usual engaged tone. They just wsnted to confirm the number is live, my guess is for the actual scammers then to call back later on No Caller ID.

Multiple calls. Answered once. An Indian sounding guy called on my mobile, stated that he is from Commonwealth Bank security department. They noticed 11 suspicious transactions on my credit card. Said I needed to verify them. I checked my card and there were no foreign transactions. I hung up. He proceeded to call back around 10 times and I did not answer.

Caller: Scammer pretending to be CommBank

Guy was convincing and pretended to be Comm Bank fraud and security division. Slight American and Indian accent mixed. Said that there were 3 transactions made from foreign IP addresses. The thing is I don't have a CommBank Credit Card! I kept asking for his dept and number but he kept referring me to the number on the screen and to look at the back of my card. I strung him along for as long as I could so he couldn't scam some other poor person. Unfortunately, I lost it laughing and couldn't hold him any longer. Had to tell him I know it is a scam call to which he kept saying, "who told you this"? Thanks to everyone who has entered information on this page. Was very useful to read as I pretended to look for my card.

Caller: (02) 9999 3283 Scammer on the line

Scammer with Indian accent pretending to be from Commonweath bank fraud department. He asked to confirm my personal details and said there were 3 fraudulent overseas transactions being put through my card and said he will send me a netbank code to prevent these transactions from going through. He asked for details of my last transaction and credit limit and asked for my full credit card number and ccv etc. He was trying to put transactions on my card whilst I was on the phone with him.

After I hung up, I called 132221. Whilst on the phone with the real CBA, I kept getting repeated calls from this number. A message was left by an Indian lady claiming to be from Commbank fraud department.

It seems Commbank systems have been compromised for the scammers to have access to Customer details or these scammers actually work inside the bank.

Repeated calls every couple of days, never leaves a message. No message = no credibility. It's the commbank's number, but it's being spoofed. All my accounts are ok, and there are no alerts for me anywhere within the commbank system.

Scam! CommBank has call-centres in Australia, so you generally won't get Indians. Phone number spoofing in use here, so it shows up as being CBAs number.

An Indian sounding guy called on my mobile, stated that he is from my bank security department. They noticed two suspicious transactions on my credit card. Said he could void these and said he would transfer me to his supervisor. I then hung up.

Received calls from this number one after the other. Don't have a CommBank account so must've been spoofed and used by a scammer. Now blocked due to continued nuisance calls.

This is absolutely correct. I just spend an hour and forty minutes on this line with the bank sorting out a Mastercard problem. Others maybe spoofing it, but the number is legit.

Guy from Sydney number who said he was from Comm Bank and I made a Telstra payment and since I didn't make it then he was gonna report it as Fraud. The thing that pisses me off is he know my full name and suburb where I lived. I'm not a Comm bank customer not a Telstra. Beware
