Caller: “Vodafone”

Claimed they were calling from Vodafone and said they’d like to offer me the latest phone and asked which did I like, Apple or Android. I said tell me what phone I have on file. They said “okay, ma’am” like they were about to hang up but didn’t. I couldn’t really understand what they were saying next. I got really angry and said “you’re a scammer.” Vodafone would know what phone I have and that I’ve had one of the latest iPhones for only 5 months! If they don’t know and don’t empower their salespeople with this knowledge then they’re setting people up to fail.
