Caller: A reorded message

I received a call at 3.30am. It rang twice, then hung up. I returned the call. I was answered by a recorded message. The male voice said it was from something like "Connect with Family and Friends". And that a family member was trying to contact me. They said hold the line and I would be connected through. I held on for 4 minutes. Then disconnected the call. I rang my provider, they said it was I scam. I was not charged for this call. So I don't really know what the scam was!!

Called my phone, then tablet once, twice before hanging up. Have blocked the number from attempting to contact me again

Yeah called and dropped call and answered some scammer.
