I have lots of calls from this number over past two days
I have a Panasonic cordless phones and I have blocked this number
My phone has one ring and cancels the call

Obviously a computer or robot-dialler doing the calling as it happened over a period of 3 days every 10 minutes. Not as frequent now, but still extremely annoying. I've blocked the number but it was still ringing once before being blocked until I figured out from the manual for our phone how to turn the first ring off.

I'm being bombarded from this number and when I listened to one of the calls, it is a recorded message from "Nicole" from Australian broadband service saying they are going to disconnect my line! Can't the govt do something to stop this crap.

This happened to me almost identical, only 29 calls up till 10 a.m. Even on Sunday. I also am not with Telstra.

27 calls in 2 days. How does this even happen. Work number, so we definitely don't sign up for anything using the work number. Not sure who is calling, but it's every 20mins. Non stop.

Started at 9 pm last night, three calls before I blocked the number and turned the landline off. Three more before 9.30 am this morning. (Phone registers a blocked number by one ring.) So annoying.

Seven calls to a private number from these bastards, before we took the phone off the hook.

Answered, no one there, appears to be an automated call

Rang my landline saying there was a problem with my internet connection (there isn't), did not know which company is my ISP (it's not Telstra who he claimed to be working for), hung up when I challenged him he was a scammer.

Hiw can I stop this number constantly ringing me?

Why would you get a call from this at midnight?????

Caller: Telstra SMS to landline "service" 0198339999

This is a really annoying "service" that Telstra provides. The number calls you continuously every 10 mins or so until you answer. Once you answer, the robot message comes through after a few seconds wait. It was a legitimate person who accidentally sent a text msg to my landline but I wasn't prepared to answer the phone with such a weird number. In this case it wasn't spam but it was exceedingly annoying to have the phone constantly ringing and not leaving a message on the answering machine - usually a sure sign it's a telemarketer.

Caller: Talk-to-Text message (Telstra?)

Telstra or whoever uses this number, should cease and desist - it is a MENACE! People should cease and desist using this form of communication as landlines aren't meant to receive text messages - USE A PHONE WITH AN ANSWERING MACHINE and leave the message YOURSELF! ---- OR USE the text facility on a mobile phone.

7 calls within 1 hour. No message. If call returned, "this number not in service"

Called at 10PM - when I picked up the phone, they hung up. You ring back and the voice says "this number is not in service, please check the number". SCAMMERS no doubt.

Caller: Some Telstra text-to-speech

They keep on calling every day or so, and the messages are always some sort of link and the messages keep getting longer. In the end, it usually says "Thank you for choosing Telstra". We've already put it on a do not call list, but they keep calling.

If this is a new service to enable SMS to be sent to landline numbers I would have expected it would have been advertised first . instead we get a number to ring that can on first impression be a hoax caller with all the 99999 at the end. The crap we get from a Queensland 04 number is enough to make you decide that if you do'nt know it then it must be crap.

I'd rather get male enhancement pill ads than this sh*t. Called my bruv 47 times in two days.
