Received an IG request from follower obviously fake, claiming can’t log in on new phone, IG chose two friends that can send link to….. gut telling me it ain’t right, never known this follower by the way, they are in ‘states’ …..

"Sms alerts about unrecognised logins into your Facebook account will be disabled in 7 days" ...etc. Hey I don't have a Facebook account so obviously a scam! Delete this rubbish message.

Claims breach of facebook logon and provides link to change settings.

I received 2 messages like this after 10pm, bloody annoying when trying to sleep. Deleted them as I don’t have Facebook. How can you block them?

Sent a message claiming to be Facebook and now has me account please help me. I have Reported it to the ACSC.

Looks like this number is on the go again as most posts here are a year+ old. I have had several messages that a person I know wants to be a friend on Facebook plus a long link, followed by ones saying I still haven’t responded. Obviously, no actual Facebook request. Have blocked the number.

Can anyone back track the no to locate the name of the number, their country and address?

Almost daily calls to me on imessage about facebook photos, what a nuissance, who are these good for nothing ? Can anyone out there please stop this type of wasteful abuse?
Just note the many, many objections.
