phone sent a txt msg to 126700 with a long number eg

Another website suggested it's NBN related but I think it's from Google when you use use DCB (Direct Carrier Billing) to buy something but are chared vis your carrier instead of paypal etc

Other carriers have different phone numbers

What does it mean if you don’t use PayPal or other internet payments?? And don’t buy online ever...nuisance...

This DCB message popped up when I started the process of getting an app off playstore and decide to back out. It's legit. It actually sends from your own mobile to your comms provider. Probably keep an eye on your bill just in case you have inadvertently purchased the app.

Texts from 126700 are (your) carrier based (Vodafone in my case). I had one come through shortly after purchasing an App from Google Playstore this morning (thinking wtf is this) and then saw the others, a long list all on one day, from when i wiped and reinstalled Apps on my phone, these were all free downloads, but it does appear Playstore sends confirmation to your number in the form of DCB: xxxxxxxxxxx etc.

Will monitor, just in case though. Everythings connected in this digital world.

Been receiving DCB texts, numbers.

Somehow my phone (not me) sent a message with heaps of numbers starting in DCB I don't use direct carrier billing .. who n wat is it?
