It's just your message bank. It calls you when you reply to the message bank text instead of the person who tried to call you. That's what I did and I got a call from my message bank shortly after.

Caller: 0101300101 I accidentally sent a SMS to messagebank (101) and got the 3 calls back almost immediately. Nothing worry about. It's not a scam, just dud programming.

Caller: 0101300101 Yes I sent a message to message bank by mistake and got called back by that number 4 times in quick succession. I did not answer any and then came here to report and see what others said. It is not helpful all the above people saying they think it’s the ATO scam or whatever. Just report what ACTUALLY happened please do not muddy the waters with what you “think”. Just stick to the facts please!

Caller: Optus voice mail The previous post was correct. These calls only came in right after I accidentally sms'd my voice mail instead of the caller. I've labelled this as voice mail in my contacts.

Caller: 0101300101 phone rang several times until I blocked the number. I never answer unknown numbers. Too much grief. They can leave a message if its legit. Assume the worse and ignore it.

Called 8 times, never answered, then I blocked it after sending a message reading, “why should I?”.

Caller: 0101300101 I was calling my voice mail and half way thru listening to a bunch of messages when I received a call from 0101300101, so I put voicemail on hold to answer and got an automated voice saying “only one user can be logged into voicemail at one time, goodbye” - and my voicemails have been going missing (text saying I have 22 messages but only 10 when I listen, for eg). Maybe some sort of voicemail hack? Wouldn’t let me call them back, said not available from this service and to contact my service provider!?
