Indian sounding fellow called from "P L Solutions" about to launch into a way to earn income off my retirement funds. RED FLAG!
I said "Not interested!" and hung up.
I then saved that phone number as "Do not answer". Not the first time I've done that. Saves the angst next time they try to suck me in.

PL Solutions, Payless Solutions and Maxwell Solutions are apparently all fronts for an Indian company called Infotronics. They initially claim to be just doing a survey (which is exempt from the Do Not Call register), then keep calling back with sales calls. They're based offshore, so I'm not sure ACMA can do much, but they supposedly 'warned' them several years back, so that implies they possibly could do something if they received enough complaints (get to it, people!).

I had the same thing from a man named Mark. He would not give the abn number of the company and gave me a fake 1800 number as well. Would not let me speak to the supervisor just hung up on me. He rang a couple of days ago and we told him we were on the no call register.

these idiots constantly call regularly so over it!

Got a call from this number - 5484355034. Ignored it. Wondered how they got my number.

Caller said PL solutions is representing Australian Government Dpts to help with claiming benefits. We don't receive any Government benefits, so it was a stab in the dark. He said they were not selling anything, they are in South Melbourne 1800 0147340 I haven't run the number. He was persistent, after I said 'thanks, bye' he rang back. There should be a way of reporting this to Centre Link.

I have had a couple of calls from this number. The guy tried to book an appointment for someone to come to my house to show me how to save on tax and other advice. I asked him to send me an email but said he wasn't allowed. I asked for the company name he said it was PL Solutions based in Melbourne. I asked for the website but when I looked up www.plsolutions.com.au it doesn't exist. I told him to call back but I have the number in my phone and just wont answer. It all seems pretty sketchy to me!

I have now had two calls from this number- missed both of them. The +54 prefix is Argentina. I don't know anyone there, so I think it's a scam too. That will be why you cannot call back as if it's an Australian number.

Had a call on land line from this number and as we did not recognize it, we let it go to message, & No message. Within 20 seconds my mobile rand and same number, again no message....NO MESSAGE, well it cannot be important...but (54) is very weird.

Yes, I believe it certainly is a scam. They tried very hard to keep a conversation going, in the end I just said, I am busy give me or text me your number and I will call you back.

The reply was oh Sh-t and they hung up.

I got a call from this 54 number as well
I called it back from my mobile phone and the recording was that the number wasn't in service. I agree that it's probably spam.

54 is a weird prefix for Aussie phone number, received a call from this number on my mobile, I didn't answer it, but called it back and voila.... this number is not in service, as I expected, another spam call probably
