CDRU - they are difficult just for the sake of it, I have been dealing with them for over a year now and I have not once spoken to one friendly person.

I got into debt with HSBC when I lost my job back in 2006. I had an argument with my landlord and was unable to collect my post, until my brother went round to get it. By this point HSBC had passed the debt on to MCS they demanded a minimum of £70 a month which I just couldn't afford so I told then they either accept £20 or do one. They finally agreed and I paid every month. April 2011, I moved into my own place and some how lost my payment card during the move, I rang, but there was no answer so I started making payments online with there official website. However, it said the payment had been accepted so I though you know there were getting the payments, their waited 5 months before notifying me them hadn't RECIEVED payments demanding the £100 I had missed. I tried ringing them and they told me I was lying that if id paid it online their would have received it. And the made another demand for a minimum of £70 a month, I lost my temper and told them to either pass me to another debt collection company that wasn't ran by HSBC or to go swivel. Now, I've received a letter to my mother's house as MCS didn't CDRU my new address and coz I don't live there my mother was returning the letters to the sender. I went to visit her and opened the letter that had arrived that morning. This one was from CDRU STATING "We understand that you are still at this address, and we feel this is a deliberate attempt to avoid this debt. This debt will not go away!" So, they to are calling me a liar!
If this CDRU company had been a company not linked to HSBC then I would have been polite, however, there clearly state at the bottom of the letter "central debt recovery unit is a trading style of Metropolitan Collection Services Limited (MCS). So I kinda have a feeling especially reading about how rude CDRU are I don't think I can bite my tongue, if there act the same way MCS.
I want to pay this debt. However, I would rather deal with Moorcroft or another company that aren't up HSBC's butt. A company who are not rude. How do I go about asking them to transfer, my debt to Moorcroft? As I have deal with them for my phone bill debt that also came about when I lost my job. And they we're great. If i missed a payment or was unable to make the payment on time due to getting paid from my new job a couple days after the due date, they would work something out that would benefit them in not losing the money altogether and benefit myself so that I didn't have to panic about "further actions" being taken.
