I asked for a quote from Electricity Australia.
All seemed fine until they followed up with the paperwork.
Firstly, they sent the paperwork to another address so service was never achieved.
Secondly, the quote had miraculously doubled.
After numerous calls, all ignored, they finally stated that as I had not contacted them within the ten-day cooling off period I had to abide by the contract. The matter will be presented to the Electricity Ombudsman.
