WARNING! I think I "smell" a scam. Would s.o. pls check out the number (not myself!). An Indian woman called Jasmin said she was ringing from a Sydney firm called Common Law Claims, at Martin Place, MLC Center, re. an accident claim and that she was given my tel. no. --- it's nothing to do with me and, to get rid of her, I said s.o. in the house would ring back on the no. she (somewhat reluctantly) provided. A web search with the above details was fruitless ....... who'd be surprised!

I think they are asking questions for a reason asked for "accident claim no" I gave them a made up no & they also want number plates of cars I think they must have a scam something to do with car insurance ?

Scam. Doesn't have details... Fishing for information.
Says she was forwarded our details from the Road Safety Council, but doesn't know any information. Gets angry when I ask her to forward some identification regarding her company, tells me to google it while she holds...
But she is adamant she will get me compensation money...

Had this call today 13th Feb. When I pressed on where she got my number she raised her voice and eventually hung up on me.

Same as above. SCAM. Even when I told the indian man it was a scam he tried to reassure me it wasn't. He told me they were based in Western Sydney, 20 martin place... that's not western sydney buddy. I asked him if he lives in Australia of which he said yes. I told him he should be ashamed of himself and to get a moral and ethical backbone to not scam citizens of Australia and become a productive citizen who gives back to where you live! Also told him to never call my number again. He hung up. Sad people. It is obviously a large set up as they were plenty of people no doubt making the same calls across australia. Do not fall for this rubbish!
