Got a text saying call me now from Somalia. Replied who is this then realised this is a scam. Called Virgin and had the number blocked

Also received a test saying call me now plz 2525415756 12/6/2014

So did I same day. No idea who. Didn't call back as the message sounds like a scam.

Just received a message from the same (+2525415756) "I have something important to tell you call me noow"

Decided to check Google to see what was up. Looks like a scam to me. Might be unrelated but I got prank called yesterday as well by a private number and all I heard was someone continuously sputtering quiet gibberish?
