This call is from Pune, from the Sony Ericsson people.. do u own a sony ericsson phone ??

One call a day to my mobile, they just hang up.  I've saved the number as PRESS CANCEL

call from this no. today, any ideas?

This 0239011111 number has repeatedly called my landline over the past few days. The same number called several times before, they have a habit of hanging up when someone answers their calls ... I got so fed up with it that I called the number back, the female who answered needs to get some lessons in manners, she was rude and hung up, I re-dialled asking to speak to a manager, needless to say the manager was unavaliable and again this female hung up. My number is Ex-directory and I'm extremely careful who I give the number to, I believe they obtained the number through my phone provider selling customer details on to other companies.
This company the 02390 number belongs to also has blocks of other numbers very similar with only a few last digits being changed - they appear to be advertising debt solvency and mortgage lending amongst others. You can tell them to remove your number from their calling list, but it doesn't work - they'll still call, don't expect to get anyone answer when you pick up your phone though, they're fond of hanging up! Also if you call the number back after having had a gutful, be prepared for the rudeness of their staff!
Doesn't this qualify as nuisance calls?

we have been receiving calls from this number consistently for the past month now at all hours ranging from 2:00am to 8:00am.  Always in the morning or middle of the night.  if we answer, the caller will usually immediately hang up. once we heard a long beep then the dial tone, and once a male voice said "hello" and then hung up.  this is very annoying and i feel is harassment.  i have tried to block the call through the phone company but as it is not a valid US phone number, i am unable to do so.  very frustrating.
