Total scam ,don't bother calling!
automated message saying something like please try again I called about 10x before it set in that they are full of sh*t and are just out to collect money off of all the 'unconnected phone calls being made. Plus this pommy bitch looks like a crack head breathing like a gorilla

I called 5 times knowing the correct answer and the automated message said try again... No one else called... Then like 5 minutes later they said finally one one called! Scam!

Thanks for the comments all, I was curious to know why this was so easy and thought I'd google it..... you have all saved me some money. What might only be 55c, when it hangs up on you your brain kicks into stubborn mode and makes you ring again. You all saved me, so hats off to you all. I thank you.

I thought it was odd what I was watching and the host will not shut up! Still I tried to call and it wouldn't let me and then came across this thread which confirms my thoughts SCAM!!

I called 22 times within a few minutes span and was not able to get in. This is a big SCAM. How come they allow this?

Totally scam ! Automated voice record you can't get to the right person to talk taking your 55 c per call whether they pick the phone or not how come this Russian mafia come to Australia.

Called in twice and never got through so gave up knowing it was rigged anyway.
Just got my Telstra Bill.
Now when I called the show it took about 3mins total for two tries.

Now two calls @ 55cents a min appx 4-5 mins total roughly $4-5.
I got charged $97.67
Needless to say, this will end up in court!!

They give money away. But l suspect it's internal. My opinion hasn't changed. It's still pure television BULLsh*t.

'Call and Win' are thieving scum bag scammers. ALL the friends and family of the slime bag with her face on screen should know she's a thief, and Gem TV should be on criminal charges. Deliberate WRONG answers given so that no one can win, calls cost every time but never answered and REPEATS of previous contests that have ALREADY been drawn. Someone (in fact several) should be jailed.
