Calling about our "windows computer" - complete scam.

Yeah I think the do not call register gave our number out by the sounds of it or they have a inside man. Omg over this crap. Indian pricks

Have been receiving phone calls from this number and we are sick to death of it - it comes up as an overseas number and as we work from home it's impossible for us to know if it's a legitimate call or some idiot. We are also on the DNC (Do Not Call) register but it doesn't work.

I am extremely tired of this number calling my land line and it is becoming harassment and I would like to know how we can stop this happening anymore.
We are talking about 5-6 phone calls per day. Just over these types of callers. PLEASE do something about it.

These twats have called 4 times this evening. Getting sick of it! Have our number on the do not call register but doesn't seem to help

Called to tell me that my Windows certification has expired. That I needed to follow his messages and make my computer work faster. I do not believe this man. I think he may be a scammer who preys on in suspecting people. I may also think that I may have upset h by not playing his game. After talking for 35 mins about how difficult it is more me to move he hung up.

This mob keep calling, the change to number with held. Sick of these d*ck heads, these days your not game enough to answer a number you do not know because you don't know what they are capable of!!!!!!!!!!!

This number has rang 3 times in the last 2 days, first one was answered thinking it was a normal 1800 number, ignored the last 2 calls.

I've had a few calls from 18889792362 on my home phone, just dead silence and then the call disconnects .. sounds like a scam to me from what the others have said

I have had one call from this number ask me to log on etc etc told him i had a mac desk top and viruses don't get through on macs,,
I have had 2 more calls from the same number i did not answer

After answering a couple of times they just hung up so I figured it must be some sort of scam. So from now on if I don't get an answer straight away - I hang up on them!.

Usually they hang up as soon as the call is connected. Occasionally they speak in the phone. On odd occasions like today we get a complete phone number. If you google it it comes up as belonging to this company

Just received a call - they said they were from Microsoft and that their data shows that my computer is downloading viruses (sounded sus from the start...imagine if Microsoft called every user across the planet to advise them of this). Then wanted me to log on and follow instructions to view the issue...as soon as I asked him to first send me verification that he is from Microsoft he hung up...

rang me - i knew it was a scam - but i played the game (without doing anything to my computer) to see what they said - sure enough - wanted remote login to my computer.
i told them what i thought of them...in an aussie way.. hehe doubt they'll call me again. :D

I found an easier way - I told them I was a pensioner and didn't have a computer, they hung up really quick!

Say they are from windows and want to know if computer & laptop are working ok ..... SCAM!!!

Its a scam someone rang me from this no saying they were form windows and that I had a virus on my computor and they wanted to remote my machine ignore this number or hang up on them do not let them remote your computor
