Posted on October 24, 2016 Caller type: Scam Location: Australia
A pop up window appeared on my laptop saying that my internet had been compromised and that I should call this number to talk to an iiNet support person. It was accompanied be a beeping alarm and was difficult to shut down. I'm assuming that it was some sort of scam. Also, I didn't make the call.
