This is a scam number. Don't respond to them. If your browser displays a message saying to ring this number, it's fake. Just restart your browser and/or pc

Indian malware scam

Scammed today luckily didn't give bank details was just so ignorant they are so convincing!!! They have my email address etc etc.... Normally I am on top of these sorts of things but let my guard down badly!!! You SCAMMERS I hope you sleep well at night!!! Called themselves a company said they were affiliated with Microsoft Australia!

I got a message up on my computer saying that I had a Koobface virus and to ring this number for support. I immediately went to another computer to check the validity of the number and found all these messages regarding the number being scam. why dont these people get a real job

Thankyou carole, this just popped up on my computer, so will now restart my computer without ringing that number

Just got rid of this scam in my friend's pc today. Bloody indian scums pretending to be an authentic tech company.

I got a message up on my computer saying that I had a Koobface virus and to ring this number for support. They tried to sell me Internet protection and when I told them I already had protection they said it didn't work with this particular virus. I started to get suspicious so did a 1800 reverse lookup I told Alex John (the name he provided) that I was not continuing with the call as it was a scam. He hung up. I'm just hoping I didn't give them too much information before I realised.
