Caller said they were from NBN and wanted us to check upload and down load speed to the modem. They said they would send a technician tomorrow to connect fibre from the node to the house. I asked for a number to confirm this was a legitimate call. They gave me the above number which when I called it was not in service. I got a phone call back from the caller who was irate that I had suggested the phone call was not legitimate. He wanted us to install software to our devices lekcare.help which I would not do without confirmation of legitimacy.

Caller: Jordan This number is apparently the Head Office of NBN. It was given to me by Jordan to further discuss Job ID 04 25 98. My landline is due to be connected within 24 hours.

Caller: Angela NDN rang me on landline offering me a extra fast internet for NO COST. Tech would be required to make some setup changes. I said that I would need to ring back in 30 mins. They gave me the above number. Number doesn't answer with "your call could not be connected".
