We have dealt with Workplace Publications without a problem. The lady did chase us for payment, so we just advised that we wouldn't pay until we got copy of the magazine. The magazine came in the mail within the week & we paid - no problems.

Workplace Publications are still active. Received a call last week from 'Nancy Woods' saying that I had agreed to advertising in the Health and Safety in the Workplace magazine last October and that the magazine was now ready to be posted out. Needed my postal address and to pay with credit card over the phone. Said that I wasn't able to do that and to send me an invoice. Kept getting phone calls from Nancy saying that an email had been sent to me with the invoice. Just received the invoice now. Cut and pasted job down very badly. Workplace Publications say address is in South Yarra. I have reported them to Scamwatch. Workplace Publications have a bigpond email address, as did similar scam from 2014/2105 using similar tactics of saying I had agreed to advertise and had to pay.

Exactly what happened to me today. I smelt id was dodgy. Same woman, Sam Burgess. Scam...

Ok seems to be an ongoing issue.... I have totally different information but still with Work Place Publications. I have googled then and so far do not exist. Ladies name is Sarah Morgan for add in safety awareness in the community.......$555.

As above. It didn't feel right. Lucky I came across the above info about Susan Burke who is using the email<adsprod @ bigpond.net.au>. I took a screen shot of the above comments and emailed it back to her. Guessing I wont be hearing from her again.

Looks like I just got scammed too. I was uncomfortable with the whole thing but decided that if I had agreed to it I had better honour my agreement.

Really don't like being ripped off.

Got an email from Susan Burke (Adsproduction with email address of adsprod @ bigpond.net.au) which had an ad proof attached. I found it strange so attempted to look them up where I found the above comments. I discussed this email with my husband, who stated that he did receive a phone call from some lady referring back to a call she had with him back in March agreeing to advertise with Health & Safety journal. I deleted the email. I then received a phone call from this Susan (my phone stated it was a "Private No") today asking if I received the email-I told her that I had & that we were not prepared to place the ad in journal. She was rude & hung up.

As above, they try to convince you that you, or someone in your organisation has already agreed to run an advertisement in a phone call some time ago. They send you a draft, taken from your website. They also give you regular reminder calls if you do not respond. Watch out for 'Workplace Publications'.
