Received a sms phone text message to my Vodaphone personal mobile phone on 18 June 2021, stating: "#You've paid $1500.00AUD for E-CARD @INC*PAYPAL AU on 2021/06/18 TID#1401AQ65147D15. If Not you, Contact TFN: (+61) 1800 569 149 for dispute. Thank you. !!!

I didn't ring the number, knowing it is a scam as I haven't paid anything.

Caller: SMS claiming to be from Paypal

SMS message from TM-INFO claiming to be a transaction for a paypal account. Says to call this number to dispute the transaction. Call centre staff member responds "thank you for calling Paypal" but phone number does not appear to be associated with Paypal.

this number was given in a txt message to call if it was not me who paid $1500.00Aud for E-Card@INC*Paypal_au on a date?????
No money out of paypal acct
no money out of bank showing
sounds dodgy to me! is it a scam?

This call centre is making out that they are PayPal customer service.

received s text mesage claiming that I've spent 1500 on ecard. asked me to call this number if it was not me.

As soon as I asked if this is a scam they hung up!
