Received a text message from "Paypal" at this number, saying an unauthorised payment had been noted from South Korea on my account. Authorised by my bank, but they had frozen the account for 24 hours.
Sounded genuine - knew my name, address, when my last transaction had occurred etc.
I got suspicious when he asked for credit card details, so I phoned Paypal directly and they confirmed it was a scam.
When I said I would check directly, he hung up.
