I have had three messages from this number for three different things. I did have one blood test done by TML, but questioned the amount as it was a follow up test for the same thing that was free two months prior, that's seems to have gone away. The second invoice was for QML in Queensland, which had nothing to do with me and I've never had tests in Queensland, after calling that seems to have gone away. The third one was two months later and I'm still trying to contact them. I've asked for email copies of invoices but nothing. I think they just send out links to pay in case someone does. Been on the phone now for an hour trying to get through.

Got a txt message from "Pathology" saying I had an invoice due for payment?? Checked the website after copying txt msg info to pc, and it apparently is a Western Diagnostics Laboritory, and I did have a test done there recently, but I'm not sure if this is legit or not, so am ignoring the txt...if this is genuine, why don't they send a bill in the mail?? Also am not sure I really have to pay as I'm concession holder anyway...

But they put you on indefinite hold, asking every two minutes for you to wait, as they are experiencing slightly longer wait times. Last time I hung up after 38 minutes because I don't have a cradle device in my car for hands-free calling & had to depart. As I'm typing this, I'm on hold again attempting to make contact and have now been on hold 45 minutes.

Claimed to be in relation to invoice due Abbott Pathology, checked their site and number & link to pay, seems legit. Check your pathology service!

Caller: Pathology

Claiming to be from Dorevitch Pathology saying invoice due for payment. When I spoke with the pathologist 2 weeks ago she said no payment necessary. Do not click or pay the link and if in doubt look up the actual pathology clinic you may have visited instead of the supplied 1800 number.

I was billed $100.00 from this number however there is no invoice telling me why.
I am taking the SMS to my Doctor in January and let them see it.

Dorevitch Pathology invoice for over $1000. Same ebill.healius.com link. I did have a routine blood test done a couple of weeks ago, but there was no mention of $1000+ out of pocket. Googled Dorevicht they seem to be largely based in Vic, and I am not. Judging by the pattern of messages, I am assuming this is a scam too.

THIS IS NOT A SCAM - Googled Dorevitch Pathology and on their website you can pay this account. There are also other phone numbers for you to contact them directly, so you don't need to use the 1800 number in the SMS, and speak to them if you are unsure why you got this SMS. Due to changes with Medicare some blood tests and Urine tests are not covered.

I have received pretty the same message twice with $60 and the link was same. It looks like a scam.

Caller: TEXT from Pathology

Received text from Pathology in October advising of bill from Dorevitch. I checked 1800 350 046 in Reverse Phone Australia and saw the messages that number was a scam so deleted text. Received another today from Pathology so called Dorevitch landline (03) 9244 0444 after typing URL included in text into my laptop which is from Helius which is parent company for many different Pathology labs.. The URL returned a Dorevitch Invoice. I checked my Medicare claims and this service had not been claimed. The invoice was legitimate for the date charged as I had this pathology test previously and it isn't payable through Medicare. Person I spoke to said Dorevitch is now sending invoices via text as I had previously received a hard copy. She did give option of sending future invoices via hard copy/email/text. I proceeded to pay invoice through my bank as I didn't want to give this person my details

Scam to call back about fake invoice. Didn't give them my name or number, just the first two letters of my name, and they asked if I had any family members who might have had pathology. Didn't give my full phone # either, but they offered to remove the invoice from the account if I gave it to them. Refused and said my next call would be to the police.
