Had text from 919002958843. Couldn't find anything on that number. Checked country area code if that's what the 91 was - India. Text similar to others. Claimed to be PayPal notifying me of flagged purchase to my account of $389.99 to 'Advanced Analytics Tools'. Transaction code also given. Not mine and checked my actual PayPal account. No such purchase there. This is maybe the 3rd similar PayPal related text I've had. Logged one of them with PayPal customer service via app and advised no purchase attempted and to regard as scam.

Caller: text message Received the same message. Didn't reply back. Instead checked my PayPal account to see if any such transaction request had been made. Suggest others do this if they get a message from an obvious scammer.

As above, seems like a Paypal scam. It was a text message telling me of a $312.50 charge pending and to call this number immediately to verify my account status to avoid any potential unauthorised access.
