Check of my AMEX account shows $1.00 pending payment to this number.

Purchased socks from this person through ebay, logged in a few days later to check my order status and found no order. Tried to contact by phone but phone disconnected. Pretty sure I got ripped off.

Received a charge of $1.00 on PayPal. This phone number was recorded against the charge.

Caller: Andrea

Said they were from ebay, had seen suspicious activity on my account and would I like to cancel the order for $399. Told me that I had to do it on the phone right away and when I asked for an email, she told me that they don't have time to send one. Not good.

Caller: Eric Willson!

Told my partner he had ordered an iPhone, when my partner said no, he offered a refund, he managed to talk his way around getting credit card details, I smelt a rat and we got the card cancelled and reported it to scam watch. Later we were informed by the bank that a transaction had been attempted for $806 with a company called Mobitech creations who I think are based in India and sell phones, so perhaps he was trying to buy a phone. This man who calls himself Eric is very convincing but a full time crook.
