received a text message from this number stating that Paypal had flagged my account for a purchase of $542.50 and needs urgent attention. I do not keep money in paypal, so not sure where this money is meant to have come from.

I got a text saying the same thing from PayPal supposedly for 245.90 the number came from France but had this Australian 1800 number as a contact, i contacted PayPal and its all fake, beware

I was texted to call this number from someone claiming to be PayPal. I have reason to suspect it's spam. They said I have 500 dollar transaction needing attention. It was worded quite legitimately,but I dont leave that much money on my card so thr transaction cant go through if it was legitimate.
