Caller: Goran Scam alert! This person called a resident, saying he is from Origin energy..threatening to cut power for a fictitious account nbr..pls beware Origin customers.

Caller: Number given on advertising mail Received two postcards and a letter supposedly from Origin Energy, to 'the occupier' of the church I am responsible for. Said we need to open an account to pay for unmetered electricity, which is supposed to cover sportsground floodlights, public BBQs, cable TV hubs, CCTV etc. Our church doesn't have any of these. Since we already pay for power used on that site, Origin Energy should have our name and correct postal address. This smells like a scam.
