Fake Telstra - said my internet was faulty. Told him to get a real job and what I thought of him. Blocked number. Still tries daily from phone log. Hang up and block number.

Had all a call from this number but when I answered there was a period of silence then a woman said that there was an internet issue in my area. They could see I was currently using my internet and wanted me to log on to their site while they fixed it for me. Yeah right I don't think so - especially as I was driving (hands free) and was in another state!

8.30 am from O.S. - I didn't think so then..... and definitely not now judging from the comments above.

Caller ID showed this number. Caller identified themselves as being Telstra Technical Support calling regarding internet connection/problems. Caller sounded female. Spoke v-e-r-y slowly and had heavy accent. Strongly suspect scam caller as there was audible background chatter and Telstra is not our provider.

Yep, same here. I did catch Telstra mentioned. Very hard to underestand. Som eethnic or Asian. I tried to get the company she was with but she went silent when I wanted the Company she represented................RP

Said he was Telstra - re a problem with my internet - hung up, barred the number, he tried to ring again an hour or so later.
