I know it is a scam as they ask me to give them control over my computer and say they are Windows technical team and try and get remote access to my computer, please avoid these scammers

Just rang twice, I didn't answer the second time. Asian accent, claimed to be from Microsoft and said my computer is 75% infected with malware. Gave me a 'licence serial number'. I put the phone down before she told me what to do with the number.

probably scam advising computer problems that it won't work unless we spoke to him.
