9 July 2014. A man with a thick accent rang me from the above number claiming he was from Energy something and he asked me a series of scam questions: Q1. Did you claim an energy Rebate? A1. Yes! Q2. Do you have Solar Panels ? A2. Yes! Q3. Have you had someone come and asses your home and receive energy saving devices ? A3. Yes! Q4. So you had all that done ? A4. Yes ! Final Statement: Since you had all that done you are saving and doing good for the environment and saving on carbon emissions. My response: Yes ! Since I answered with a Yes to everything he couldn't sell me something I already have. Theres no way that a legitamate business would call from such a bogus telephone number, it was a money scam. I am also on the Australian Do Not Call Register, further my telephone number is unlisted.
