This number was given on a phishing scam email, purportedly from Australia Post wanting our address to deliver a parcel. The email address was NOT the genuine Australia Post email and the tracking number given was a fake.Take care!

My complaint about the 13 13 18 number was from an email telling me I had a refund from My Gov.au.
It would be nice if it was true LOL

Number was given on an email supposedly sent my AusPost trying to deliver my parcel but saying my address was wrong. Email address of sender was suspicious and I was not expecting any parcels - SCAM!

All looks very legit. Envelope even had Aust Post logo.

Got same scam email ,looked so real, then i was checking for this ph number given at bottom and found out it wasnt Aus post's number and was a scam . Also checked with other family members if they ordered something ang no one did ,so was sure it was a scam. Be careful guys....

I received an email supposedly Aus Post. Requiring me to click on a link and update my address, as a parcel was "IN Hold". They even offered a tracking number. I was susso I checked the number on the Aus Post website and it came up with transit details of a parcel that had been DELIVERED!!. Whole thing just didn't add up..BEWARE!

Email purportedly from MyGov advising a refund is available on line. Appears to be another scam as no refund is expected from MyGov.

I also had an email today, apparently from myGov, saying that my refund is ready and to click on the Request Refund link. The 13 13 18 number was listed as a contact number.

The Postal Manager at Black Hill LPO provides the number 13 13 18 as the contact for customer service at Aus Post suggesting they were to blame for serious service errors.
The number however isn’t Aus Post and is a scam number apparently. Horrified that this guy provides the number but worse is the postal service manager at one of these local postal offices subcontracted out where there is apparently no scrutiny of operations or accountability as is with non local post offices. Be aware and perhaps be best to avoid Black Hill LPO Peel Street Ballarat 3350.

Got a scam email purporting to be from Australia Post and the 131318 number was given as a contact. Fake email address and Australia Post number. Do Not Call or click the attached link which asks for payment of fees.

This can happen if the recipient's address is wrong (wrong shipping address).
We have extended your shipping time by 24 hours. Pay your extra fees online to submit a new delivery request."

The 131318 number is Aus Post national call center. It's on their official blue tick twitter page. But beware If a suspicious email has it because clicking it could redirect you. The number is legit but I wouldn't click it in a email
