claimed to be from ATO processing a request to establish or add name to a SMSF. asked to contact 13 10 20 if I knew nothing about this. wife also received same message. will contact real ATO to report.

Oh come on people, do your home work. Visit the ATO website and you will find this is a legitimate telephone number for any issues arising in member accounts in an SMSF.

Supposed to be from ATO as apparently some one had tried to change names of those in my Fund or wanted to set up a similarly named Fund or change other details. Gave this phone number to contact ATO. My fund has no business or tax liability with ATO....so is a scam number via SMS to me.

I rang ATO."Kanwal medical complex"was noted on my phone id. I am hoping they can't manipulate any of my info.

I have a super account in C-Bus. I do not the reason why my account name have been changed to Gary Huang. I contact with them. I ask me to fill a changing detail form to correct it. But after I filled in the form to change the incorrect information and sent to them they still do not change the wrong information for me. So I ask tribunal to solve the problem.

Ex ATO employee got same text message verified no changes made on the portal which is how you can do it securely Do that first If in doubt get the ATO contact number from there website not from the text message always best to double check don't give out any information

Got SMS re our SMSF supposedly from ATO, Husband also got it. As my personal ATO TFN was hacked internally last year I looked up real ATO number to ring. Nothing at all had been changed on our account so looks like a call to get all the rest of the personal info. Also checked with accountant to verify no changes made

Client receives a text message from ATO reporting that contacts have been changed or members added or removed [SMSF] - SCAM

Caller: Said they were ATO

Said there was a problem with our SMSF and we needed to contact 131020 ATO to rectify the problem.

Email supposedly from ATO requesting I contact them via 131020 if I was unaware of changes to my SMSF. Worrying as I had deleted a phone number and requested a correction to my file through my accountant . Checked number and found above comments so have sent scam alert to ATO

ATO mail post sent to my address letting me know that they overpaid my super account. I've compared REAL mail from ATO and this fake 1 which honestly was a poor effort. Will be reporting this scam to the ato
