Had the same message today - about Urgent matter in my name - blocked caller

Hi, I just got the same text message from 0484 012 243 asking to call ARL on 1300 789 213 regarding important personal matter, how can we report these scammers to police? I am sick and tired on increased number of scam calls and text messages. How do these mongrels get our numbers?

she said give me your info and give me your bank account for take mony.

Defs a scam. They couldnt provide me their own number.

oh wow I received the same message today from ARL said to contact them and its an urgent matter but thanks to your comment I know now its a scam, m on google now thats why I found out your comment

Received a missed call with voice message left to call me on 1300 789 213 with Ref No. xxxxxx. When I called back the lady said she was from ARL and had something very urgent thing from DHS.Since I do not have anything I found it suspicious and said I will talk to Department of Human services directly to check and disconnected. After searching on google, it was confirmed that it is a scam.

I did received lots of missed calls from a number. Suddenly they send me a message that says they are from ARL. and that I have to contact 1300 789 213 regarding an urgent matter under my name. So I did contact the number. The lady said that I have to give my information and details with regards to DHS or dept of human services. Gotcha! I knew it was a scam. I told her if I have a letter from DHS and for what I would be happy to receive a letter from them and I told her straight away they are scam and she suddenly dropped the phone. Beware of scams calling your number using bank names and some office agency's, etc..
