I got caught out by these scammers at Deal Shack & came here to read others experiences. How ironic that on this same page the scammers have an advertisement that is disguised as an information bar showing a message bubble with 3 flashing! Once you click on it a screen pops up telling you you've been chosen as today's "lucky" winner & the click ok to verify you are the owner of the apple device. This then opens up a page of lies sucking you into the scam. This is a very deceptive way of signing people up to their scam & needs to be reported to dept of fair trading or the telecommunication ombudsman. $10 a week is a hefty charge for any kind of deal & signing people up without realising what they're going to be in for has to be a scam that needs to be brought to the attention of authorities & stopped for good.

I called the number & ordered them to issue a refund as I am disgusted at the underhanded tactics used to sign people up. I was told I'll get a call in 2 days - though I'm not going to hold my breath. I will be contacting Telstra to remove access by premium services to my account incase they try to charge me again. I'll get my $10 back if it takes me weeks of harassing them & exposing them in public as much as possible.

Perhaps contacting A Current Affair & giving them the details so they can do an exposé on this sham scamming company to warn others of the dirty tactics used by immoral companies.

Beware it's probably flashing at the bottom or top of your screen right now!

Your server is responsible for dealshack's rip-offs.Dealshack took $960.00 out of my prepaid account over 2 years. I wasn't aware of it untill other scammers like Hot XL and Big mobile started scamming too. However, telcom ombudsman sorted this mess out. Optus planes to send me a cheque for the full amount within ten days- not a week yet. I hope this helps.

I have been billed from dealshack for 2 years. I am fighting with both optus and dealshack each saying that this is going on behind the scenes of both parties. Optus opened the door to dealshack. And dealshack jumped on the wagan and began ripping everyone off. I want my full refund of $960.00 dating back since September 2014. Prepaids don't get a bill, so they don't know they are getting ripped off our of their Optus account. Optus pays Dealshack.

Just realised also been charged $178.10 over past 4 months, have no idea who this company is othrr thancdisregarding texts from them to my phone. Definitely did not willingly or knowlingly sign up as the customer service person I just rang told me I did. Offered me $95 refund fairly quickly but wanted my bank details. Current affair here we come. There is no way I signed up to being charged $10 a week for this scam!

I have just spoken with Alex on their 1300 number to stop this $10 a week fee. I am told that I have had $200 charged to my mobile phone account since February this year. I am about to request a refund of these charges that I'm told is available on their website "DealShack.co" .
Wish me luck and if you have had the good fortune of a refund let me know what you did further than just applying for it.

I too have waited over two months for a promised refund. The lastest undertaking was that payment would be made "next week". That time has now passed and I intend reporting the behaviour to the authorities. They send me massages from "Customer Care"!!!

Both DIALOGUE COMMUNICAT and MIA P/L trading as DEALSHACK have charge me via my Telstra Bill for SMS text messages that i did not ask for or even understand. I have replied STOP on numerous occasions for nil result. I have contacted both Firms to end this robbery. When asking for a refund I was asked to e-mail to an address that I haven't been able to locate. beware of both of these firms!

This is Deal SHARK or Deal Shack. Whatever. Be careful. If they get your mobile cell 'phone number they'll pretty quickly start deducting the money credit from it. BEWARE.
