Pretend to be from Simply Energy with a legitimate looking SMS message offering ways to pay an overdue bill. DO NOT RESPOND.

We are not with this company, wanted us to pay bill by phone. Could not talk to anyone.

Same message as some above. Scam.

Said my electricity acct was overdue. Wanted me to pay on phone. Not overdue.

The amount due was legit and came the day after my bill was due. Even the website looks legit. However knowing I paid my bill two days prior knew it had to be a scam...VERY CONVINCING...BE CAREFUL EVERYONE

SCAMMER 100% - 13/1/2023
Pretending to be from Simply Energy. Initial text message sent about overdue bill, amount, call this number & quote a specific reference number.
Stupidly my boss called back, provided his details, address, D.O.B before asking them what property it pertained to.
Foreign accent, They couldn't give him any information. The customer reference number they provided does not match his actual customer reference number (located in a file after he'd made the call).
Now they have his details & will probably get scammed.

Didn't call sent message pretending to be Simply energy. They will give you a bogus number to quote when you call. Do not reply to these scamming arseholes.

I also received a text from this number saying Pakash call this number to fix over due bill I've not had a power water or gas bill in my name for over 10 years must be scam or there system is useless like most billion dollar companies

Received a text claiming to be simply energy, I'm not a customer with simply energy therefore know it's a scam, but now i'm tempted to call and mess with them haha

Received text from ??? claiming to be Simply Energy, and that my A/c was overdue - suggested I ring this number to pay over phone to preserve my concession - number is nothing like Simply Energy's numbers, so I was suspicious and checked here. I imagine this is a scam and I'll check with S.I.

Received a text from Simply Energy for Serafino stating my account was overdue and to call this number to pay. I don't have an account with Simply Energy & my name is not Serafino. Have received this text message several times in the past.
