Lady phoned asking for a family member who does not even live in this country! When I asked where she was calling from, was told she couldn't provide that due to privacy. I said BS - the company name is not covered by privacy and I wouldn't be passing on a message without knowing the company. She hung up at that point in time. Scam!

Had a call asking for Daniel Price, they asked for him to call back on 1300 653 554, and wouldnt take no for an answer when I said I didnt know a Daniel Price (And I don't!). Wouldnt say where she was from or why she was calling, said it was a "private matter"

Multiple calls from private number , everyday throughout weekend/ even during evening for 2 wks . Then got voice a girl’s voice message , don’t tell where she’s from but asked to call back with Ref#

My bank sent me a reminder on the phone if I missed any payment plus posted out letter .. this is SCAM

Got multiple of Calls with no number throughout the day , each day and for at least 3wks , no message left . Until today Got voice message ,said her name is Simone - have abit if accent . She knows my full name .. asking to call her back with that number with Ref # .

Got hacker calls me 2yrs ago - remembered nearly Xmas period this will happen a lot .... true the bank said will always posted out to their customer. I’m disconnecting my number

I was left a text message from 0420 101 937 asking me to call 1300 653 554 to agree on a payment plan for the St George bank car loan. I already had a plan and it is in progress right now. Don't know why I have to do a second plan?? Definitely a scam even if the business is legit

St George auto finance sent me a letter with this number. The person who I spoke had all my details and asked me to start paying for the car or they will sell it to recover the funds. I said try it and disconnected.

received 2 phone calls on a Sunday from St George asking for my details called the bank no records received a text today with this number as call back for "bank of Melbourne loans" I know my loans and they aren't one if them

This number is the debt collections department of Capital Finance.

They have been calling, leaving messages with ref number and sent text saying I owe st George money. I havent had a loan with them for 15 years. I dont know what to do, because when I call they want bank details???

St George Auto Finance its legit. not a scam sent me a letter with a legit Bpay code which is 969964 ST GEORGE COMMERCIAL FINANCE

Messaged 1st from a mobile 0420 101 937 saying St George car loan in arrears... they knew our loan amount - scary! Then called us on a Sunday saying on arrears, which we are not... quoted our number plate too.. :(

Calls and text from this number and said it was working on behalf of st George bank loan. I personally called at George bank to confirm as I didn’t want to link anything and give away anything. St George advised I do not have anything owing and they would send letters out first. Scam.

calling from a No caller id for the last week, answered indian man said my full name requesting to verify, i asked who was speaking , wouldnt answer me , then sent me a text message fro Raj 1300 653 554 with a reference number???

No caller ID (I won’t answer those that are not in my phone). Left voicemail however there was no introduction of name or company they represent. I will not return the call.

Called and tell them we don't own any money, and after long wait they said they got the wrong number, and will remove our number in database. Not even said a "Sorry". Rude people and idiot !!!

Called 3 times per day did not mention who is calling but it’s St George agent calling from private numbers.

Know your rights

a maximum of three phone calls or letters per week (or 10 per month)
phone contact only between the hours of 7:30am–9:00pm on weekdays and 9:00am–9:00pm on weekends
face-to-face contact only between the hours of 9:00am–9:00pm on weekdays and weekends
no contact on national public holidays.

Caller: some from a so called bank, but very dangerous and if they get the right person they will take your money

I was called yesterday and my husband was called today same dodgy scam, the person souds so for real, but be aware dont give your money or ID!!!!! Call your bank...
