Caller: 2 x VicRoads scam letters - Victoria

Received 2 x separate letters for 2 x different trailer regos that I own.
SCAM, checked on VicRoads & bank websites, all paid on time.

We also received the letter but there was nothing wrong with our payment.
CHECK VICROADS WEBSITE FIRST. Enter your rego on Vicroads and check when you are paid up until before anything. This letter is a BIG scam.

Caller: Fake letter

Received a scam letter which looked pretty legitimate. Thought it was odd though, so I looked up the phone number on the website and it does not match. I will try call Vic roads on the number they provide online tomorrow. But very suspicious.

And this is obviously one of the people who are conducting the SCAM. Checked this. It is not a real Vicroads number

Scam letter recieved by post - as above. My name was incorrectly spelt on the letter.

This number is official. I dealt with some lovely helpful ladies after receiving a cheque. Someone at Vicroads Carlton office had cancelled my rego in error and sent me the adjustment note. It took them two days to get a stop put on the cheque and reinstate my rego. The other comments here are laughable and make me realise I shouldn't believe everything I read in this app.

received an official looking letter in the mail today, stating rego payment unsucessfull and to call this number with payment details. SCAM 29/05/2018
