Called from a private number claiming to be from Telstra's tech department. Informed me that my internet services were going to be cut off for one or two months because of something I have downloaded. I don't use the computer to download anything. I just use the wifi for my phone. I asked if I could call them back because it seemed a little fishy. I asked for his name and a job number also. He said his name was Harry and gave me a job number of PH58007. Called the number back that he gave me and it doesn't exist.
He originally wanted me to go and log on to my computer but I said the computer wasn't working. Not sure what he was going to ask me to do but I sure as hell wasn't going to find out.
Harry and his supervisor friend sounded very far away. Like in India.
