Received calls from this number repeatedly over several days which I missed, reading as private number. They finally left a message with an automated machine recording saying it was Click Energy and gave me a reference number. When I called up, the line was extremely crackly. I entered my reference number and got through almost immediately to an indian sounding lady. She asked for my reference number and then asked for my full name and number. I did not trust this so I ended the call.

Received a message from Click Energy like everyone else has, so I rang. Couldn't hear properly, to much static, sounded like the guy was ringing from his home. He asked the same question at least 3 times, he actually sounded like a recording, didn't trust him, hung up, blocked the number and reported it to Scamwatch. Took my complaint with Click Energy to the Electricity Ombudsman.

Clearly a scam. I received an sms stating that my electricity account was overdue. This was not the case as the invoice was just issued the day before. The SMS contained the correct account details as well as the amount owing. I dialled the 1300 number only to be placed on hold with a message stating that my call was being registered. When I looked at the actually invoice I realised that Click Energy's contact number begins with 1800.

Michelle, so they're a third-party interloper?

They left an automated call message, claimed I owed them on an overdue account, I don't even have an account with Click Energy!

Same as above, no caller ID, left an automated message to call them back. I did so, I was asked for my date of birth etc which I refused to provide. Their 1300 number does not match that of Click Energy.
