Mr Michael Stanyer. An habitual perpetrator of threats, harassment and intimidation. This genius runs a one man debt collection operation from his home address in Essendon. He will try to imply the business is much larger but don`t be fooled. His favourite go to threat is to leave false default notices against his targets and their families regardless if the debt is owed or otherwise. This sad 54 year old individual who often threatens physical violence if a debt isn`t paid simply does not have the physical capabilities to back up his threats. If you dispute a debt he will inform you the amount owed has increased or even doubled. If you are reading this you likely know what we are talking about. Mr Michael Stanyer relies upon people in a time of vulnerability to succumb to his threats and pay a debt. If you call his bluff on his threats of violence he will likely hang up and call from a blocked number with something like " I`ll send the bikies to pay you a visit " For some he is the source of much amusement, for some he is the source of much angst. Michael Stanyers preferred methods of harassment are to call repeatedly from a blocked number. Something akin to a school kids antics. He also loves to send text messages from his Virtual computer program. Each time he texts its from a different number. If he had a genuine debt to collect then why the need to hide ?
Stanyer will also use a reverse consumer intell program to search a targets name, address, phone number, ABN etc. Then he links those search results to any associates, family members, kids, spouses etc. Nothing is off limits for this bloke. He then starts his threats and harassment on those people connected to the target as a way of intimidating a victim into paying up. His main mobile number is 0418 555 686.

1. Report him to your local Police and obtain a report / event number. Inform them that there are other victims and ask that your report be linked to Stanyers case file.
2. If you feel threatened or intimidated also seek an order from the Police to have his contact cease.

4. If you have an actual debt he is calling about and his behaviour is outside the laws of debt collecting. Then advise the company who engaged his services of the Victorian Consumer affairs charges and subsequent matters.
