Caller: Email from CGU Insurance This is the correct CGU remediation team number. I called CGU directly using the contact details on the policy itself after receiving an email asking me to update my payment details, rather than call this number, and she verified everything was legitimate and put me through to this number.

This is the correct number which was verified by CGU after I contacted the number on the policy. I was then connected directly to the relevant department.

Caller: CGU via Text Had a weird text message asking to call this number regarding my CGU policy and needed to update my details. My policy doesn't expire for 9 months and my card details are valid for another 18 months so thought this was weird. Rang the generic number and they confirmed it was a legit message and was able to help.

Was an email, stating ccard was out of date. Is not at all. def a scam to get details

I believe this is a scam posing to be CGU, because their refunds department on their website shows a different number. They tried me back in April 2023, and have followed up today - quoting a different Policy number... I have not been a CGU Customer for a number of Years
