SCAM! Have not bothered to call them as I’ve never picked up a copy of readers digest in my life!
Have emailed ASIC. Will update
Very rude when I asked for evidence of the debt even argued with me and not willing to show that it was a genuine debt I received a text saying I owe money from a place I lived 9 years ago (university accommodation). I don't know why I'm been contacted now and they also said I will go on a default registry if I don't pay almost $3000 now(I don't recall ever owning that much rent). Some gronk demanding i give him my card details ASAP because he NEEDS them in the system. Calling everyday annoying me with there rude customer service. Tomorrow when they call i will tell them to go f*ck themselves and iv reported them to the police for trying to scam me! Caller: Black collection
These people are scammers
They work with countrywide austral charging you for advertising cost they did not occur! They pretend to call from the police then create a donation advertisement cost and are known as Aipol nothing to do with the government or police then when you ask for evidence countrywide Austral sell the debt to black collections and threaten you to pay via aggressive phone calls and over the top emails stating to take you court, garnish your accounts and sell you debt on the national default registry. They don’t play nice! They are manipulating scammers scaring people out of their hard earned money! May you all get closed down my ACCC or ASIC! Fraud scamming agency hurting hundreds of business owners and individuals! You should not be allowed to stay in business
Fraud collection agency requesting payment of a debt to readers digest. They have done this before and I contacted Readers Digest at the time who of course have no record of me. Surely our Telcos can trace this number and arrange to hang the arsehole on the other end. Text message regarding a GUTHY RENKER debt.... provided BPay details and if I don't pay my debt will escalate...
SCAM big time. I don't have a debt and never heard of that name before
Keep receiving SMS messages from this number saying my VEETEL debt is registered on a national default register and I should p[ay $376.32 to avoid escalation. It provides BPAY biller # and Ref # and this 1300 139 590 number too. I receive daily texts from this number and although I keep blocking it, they keep reappearing.
Caller: Black - Readers Digest
These people have been texting me since June 25th about a readers digest debt. I know it’s a scam and have asked them to send me an itemised account of the debt numerous times.
I’ve also explained to them that a debt of less of $150 can’t be listed as a default.
I don’t understand how this company is still in operation when there are people getting arrested for not wearing a mask.
What is going on with our law enforcement at the moment?! Looks like now is the time to break the law!!
I receive messages from Black
Your DANOZ DIRECT debt may be listed on a National Default registry. Pay $59.94 to avoid escalation. BPAY Biller# 261263 Ref# 4330833 or call 1300 139 590
Is someone didn’t know any better they would pay it
Supposed Guthy-Renker debt, I have received several emails and ignored all of them.
I keep getting text from 'BLACK' saying I have a GUTHY RENKER debt and need to pay $99.9 to avoid escalation. I have no debt at all and have no idea how I am getting these texts. It says to call 1300 139 590 but there is no way I'm going to call that number and have a conversation with this creepy scammer. Keep getting texts saying my Campus Living debt will be listed on the national default registry. I haven't been at university for 5 Years + if I still had a debt it would have been defaulted way before now. Scam don't call or reply Caller: sms from 0419 364 597 asked to call 1300 139 590 black collection services pty ltd
Today I received the following sms from 0419 364 597: "Your TVSN Channel debt may be listed on a National Default registry. Pay $599.49 to avoid escalation (they gave a BPay biller number and a reference number) or call 1300 139 590." Number belongs to Black Collection Services Pty Ltd.
Fortunately I do not have any debt with TVSN whom I called just to make 100% certain and they confirmed I don't have and never have had any debt with them. If these people are indeed scammers, their website should be blocked and so should their phone numbers! This is a very cruel practice as many people could panic and think they have forgotten about the so-called debt and then just pay up. I believe this is 100% a SCAM. I have just called SCAMNET on 1300 304 054 who advised this complaint be lodged via their website www.wascamnet.com.au
SMS you receive from these guys is a scam.
My wife received a text msg today about her so called debt. I do all the finances and pay everything so my number would have been listed instead of her. Def a scam. Will be making a police report. THIS IS A SCAM

I received text messages and threatening emails from this guy and I told him I had spoken to the police about defrauding money from my business. CW austral are also involved they sent the debt to this con artist. But they are scammers too so it makes sense.
Don’t pay CW Austral or black Collections anything.
We are seeing a lawyer to recoup the money and get the two companies charged with fraud.
