Presented as Aust Federal Police from NSW - insistent & rude - wanting money from my father to save his reputation as his name had been linked to drug activities. The only way to restore his good name and get my father off a criminal list was to pay money via money gram (bonus that this would also help the criminals be tracked). Called my number over 60 times. I continued to decline the calls. Man identified himself as Roy and he had a heavy accent. Number was disconnected when attempts were made to call the number back. My elderly father has paid more than $10,000 to assist the people that he thinks are contacting him from the police.
