I called back the number (08) 9761 0743 and reached vm that said I reached Royal Life Saving

Someone needs to sort the sh*t out.... As if we all don't have enough to deal with at the moment... Isolation!!!!!!

Answered and hung up after 20 seconds of no response to my continual hellos.

I do know this is not a scam there is a call centre for the RLSS in Bridgetown (I worked there in the past.) if you answer the call and tell them to remove you from the calling list they HAVE to follow that. They also do calls for other charities: Red Nose, Diabetes WA, Children's Leukaemia and Cancer Research, Wheelchair Sports, Cancer Support etc.

I also know that you can't call these numbers back as they work through a computer system and that system can make calls, but can't answer calls.

You can block this number but they'll then call from a different number. I've blocked about 20 different numbers over a number of months from calls from Bridgetown. It's always for a raffle on behalf of RLSC and they always simply swap to another number. They also try my work mobile and work landline despite being told that I cannot be contacted on those numbers.

They rang because I have supported the Red Nose appeal in the past and they wanted me to continue. They requested my Debit card information. Is this the procedure that should be used?

I have a not for publication number, so how can they access it. I used to work at Telstra call centre and we can't access private numbers, so how can they?

They told me they were from Diabetes Australia? Clearly a scam. Call back says a disconnected number.

It is a legitimate Life Saving fund raiser because I rang RLSS and checked.

This number called the phone number on my tablet (a number I don't use). Rang back and it says the number is not connected.

(08) 9761 0743 keeps calling me from bridgetown. dont know anyone there Difficult to block. I suspect they try to locate you for God knows what reason or either for scamming/ phishing Bloody annoying anyone have any ideas how to stop the blighters!!!!!!!!!!!!

Calls frequent from Bridgetown over past months. I don’t recognise number after googling it. It never leaves a mssg. I have a private number. ? Scam and nuisance calls. Just keep blocking.

I suspect it is a scam using Royal Life Saving WA as a front. Don't teturn the call.
